Reports reaching XYZ News indicate that top Kumasi Asante Kotoko player Kofi Nti Boakye has been involved in a near-fatal accident in the Ashanti region.
A close associate to the board Chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko told XYZ News that the player was on his way from an all night service when a young man ran into his vehicle. In his bid to prevent him hitting the young man, his vehicle crashed into a small bridge by the road side.
According to Nana Godbless, Kofi Nti Boakye did not sustain any serious physical injuries and is in a stable condition at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in the Ashanti region.
