The ministry said in a statement that the delegation would attend a Global Financial Management Symposium being organised in the United Kingdom by Standard Chartered Bank before going to Washington. It said the delegation will also attend other meetings in London including a meeting with the Standard Chartered Bank Board Chairman and UK top investors in Ghana.

At the Spring Meetings, the delegation will participate in seminars and forums such as the ‘Fiscal Forum: The Evolving role of the Fiscal Policy’; High Level Ministerial Dialogue on Natural Capital Accounting; High-level Seminar on Review of the IMF’s policy on debt limits in IMF-supported programs; the 4th World Bank and Africa Investor Strategic Dialogue which will focus on Project Preparation and Early-Stage Financing for PPPs, the statement added.

It said the delegation would also meet with the World Bank Vice President and attend the African Development Bank Roundtable on “Infrastructure Financing in Africa”. Aside the obligatory meetings with the IMF and the World Bank, the delegation will also hold bilateral discussions with other partner countries, financial institutions, private investors, and global civil society organisations, according to the release.
