Kenyasi Number Two(B/A), April 18, GNA – The Reverend Sister Martha Davis, headmistress of the Ola Girls Senior High School at Kenyasi in Asutifi North District, on Thursday refuted claims by the schools’ candidates for the on-going West Africa Senior High School Examination (WASSCE) that they were subjected to all forms of humiliation by examination officials.
She said the allegation was a ploy to ostensibly disrupt the examination and create bad impression about the officials, who took steps to avoid cheating during the examinations.
Rev. Sister Davis made the remarks when she interacted with members of the Past Ola Girls students Association (POGA) at kenyasi.
The POGA members were at the school to inaugurate a Ghc10,000 water project they in collaboration with Mr. Sampson Agyenim Boateng, a Kenyasi citizen philanthropist ,resident in the United States of America, constructed.
Rev. Sister Davis said the school would not condone examination malpractices and advised the candidates to do independent work.
