Ghana striker Derek Asamoah has joined South Korean club Daegu FC from former champions; Pohang Steelers.

The 31-year-old joins the Blue Arc outfit as a free agent haven ended his three-year contract with Steelers.

Asamoah has already played six games for his new club but is yet to open his account.

The Ghana international is now joining his 11th club since turning professional in 2000.

Asamoah has played four times for the Black Stars and scored one goal.

He narrowly missed the chance to join the Ghana team for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations as he failed to make the final 23-man squad for that tournament hosted in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
