Ebusua Dwarfs are unhappy with reports linking their coach Professor J.K Mintah to Asante Kotoko.

Reports in the local media were rife earlier this week that officials of the Ghanaian League champions were considering making an approach for the University lecturer after their 2-1 win over the Cape Coast-based side during a Premier League game last weekend.

But Dwarfs have reacted angrily to the reports saying “there is no truth in the reports’ which has the tendency to disrupt their focus.

“It’s unfortunate that such unfounded reports are carried by the media,” Dwarfs spokesperson Paul Adjetey said

“You hear reports that Professor Mintah could join Kotoko. How can anyone put out such an untruth?

“It has the propensity to destabilize our team and we’re not taken kindly to such reports.

“We want to assure our supporters that Professor Mintah is a professional who will not abandon the project he’s doing here.

“He will not build a particular standard and then abandon the ship to Kotoko, when he has not achieved his result.”

The University of Cape Coast lecturer has guided Dwarfs to 5th on the League table so far with eight games left to end the season.
