ACE MUSICIAN Gyedu Blay Ambolley will on Sunday April 21, storm the +233 Jazz Club and Grill located on Ring Road, opposite Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) in Accra with a concert that will showcase a dramatic blend of highlife with other rhythms.

A versatile singer, songwriter, producer and a musical ‘life force’, Gyedu Blay Ambolley burst onto the scene over two decades ago with ‘Simigwa’, a jazzy highlife style that virtually worked its way into the hearts of music fans in the country and beyond.

Ambolley, who has promised to perform his favourite hit songs to satisfy patrons who will attend the show, will perform alongside another enterprising female star, Bibie Brew.

Bibie Brew is a Ghanaian award winning International recording artiste who has flown Africa’s flag way beyond the shores of the continent. She is an International star performer, whose songs topped the French charts in the 1980’s. She has recorded and released five major albums and 42 singles in France and the whole of Europe.

Ambolley and Bibie Brew are expected to surprise the audience with their dramatic blend of traditional and contemporary rhythms.

The event, which is expected to attract a large number of jazz music fans, as well as stakeholders in the music industry, will kick off at 7:00pm.
