Day three of the substantive hearing of the Election Petition case in which three leading members of the New Patriotic Party are challenging the verdict of the 2012 General elections is currently on going with Tony Lithur, Lead Counsel for first respondent, President John Mahama cross examining Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia star witness in the case.

During the cross examination Dr. Bawumia admitted that though he had mistakenly submitted to the Court some pink sheets which were duplicated in different categories, the duplicated pink sheets were never used in doing his analysis to prove the grievous omissions, malpractices and irregularities in the 2012 presidential election.

NPP flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, his running mate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and party Chairman Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey are challenging the outcome of the 2012 polls citing widespread irregularities during voting.
