The National Labour Commission (NLC) has thrown out a stay of execution application filed by the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission to halt the strike by Government and Hospital Pharmacist Association (GHOSPA).

According to the NLC, members of GHOSPA deserve the right to be on the Single Spine Salary Sructure.

Head of Research for the Hospital Pharmacist Association (GHOSPA), Charles Nii Offei Palm in an interview with Citi News confirmed the decision saying: “The stay of application of execution brought by Fair Wages and Salaries Commission to the NLC has been dismissed.”

“This goes to buttress what we have been saying all this while that we have a case, just that somebody there at the Fair Wages Commission is failing to do his work using the cover of the institution of state.”
