Manchester City are ready to splash the cash to lure ‘unhappy’  Kevin-Prince Boateng from AC Milan.

The reigning English champions are hoping to capitalize on the uncertainty surrounding the long-term future of the 25-year-old at the San Siro.

Boateng’s contract expires in 2014 which leaves the Italian side  with two options of either offering him an improved deal to keep him or sell him right away if he expresses the desire to leave the club.

The situation could however be complicated by the possibility of Boateng going on a one-year free transfer and then firm up a long-term deal with the Eastland side.

The former Tottenham man is clearly an unhappy player having poured out his frustrations on his unstable role at the club.

He has complained about Massimiliano Allegri’s decision to constantly change  his position in matches which he feels has  limited his performances for the Rossoneri this term.

Manchester City are ready to put on the table a mouth-watering offer which will see his salary double, all in an attempt to persuade him to join the English giants.
