If … critics ‘d describe ruling party as a failure – Maku

Argungu (Kebbi) The Minister of Information, Mr Labaran Maku, on Thursday described the Good Governance Tour as an effective way of assessing and publicising dividends of democracy.

Maku, accompanied by the minister of Special Duties, Alhaji Kabiru Tanimu, made the remark in Argungu, while inspecting the Argungu bye-pass.

He said the tour would enable the media to inform the public the effort of the Federal Government in providing amenities to the people.

He said that without the tour, critics would describe the ruling party as a failure.

Maku said that 48 projects executed by the state and Federal Government were expected to be inspected and inaugurated during the tour.

Some of the projects already inspected by the minister included the N40 million Agricultural One-Stop-Center  and  Adamu Augie College of Education, Argungu. (NAN).
