[email protected] Accra, April 18, GNA – Mr Tony Lithur, Lead Counsel for President John Dramani Mahama, on Thursday subjected Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to a session of cross examination in the ongoing election petition case at the Supreme Court in Accra.
Dr Bawumia who is second petitioner in the case, had tendered his evidence in Court, led by Mr Philip Addison, Lead Counsel for the petitioners.
The other petitioners are Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Presidential candidate of the NPP, and Mr Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey, Chairman of the party.
They are challenging the outcome of the 2012 elections which they claim was flawed on the grounds of alleged electoral malpractices.
President Mahama, the Electoral Commission and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are the respondents in the case.
