Three football administrators who have refused to appear before the Ethics Committee of the Ghana FA could be banned from the game if they fail to honour Thursday summons to appear before the committee.
The Ethics Committee has issued a third reminder to three persons to make an appearance for hearing to begin on various issues that have come before the body to investigate.
Ebusua Dwarfs CEO Nana Aidoo, Western Region Football Association Chairman, Kojo Yankah and the CEO of Tarkwa United, Ahmed Zarouk have so far failed to make an appearance before the committee despite several reminders.
They are to appear before the Ethics Committee on Tuesday, 23rd April at 4:00pm for hearing into two separate charges.
Nana Aidoo, Chief Executive Office of Ebusua Dwarfs has been invited to attend the hearing over an allegation purported to have been made by him.
According to the Ethics Committee, Nana Aidoo is to “assist in its investigation into an allegation that you support the physical assault by fans of Dwarfs FC on Referee Mr. Patrick Kyeremarteng who handle your GLO Premier League match on Sunday, 11th March, 2012 against Aduana at Robert Mensah Stadium, Cape Coast.
“The statement is alleged to have been made on Peace FM Sport Programme on Monday, 12th and Wednesday 14th March, 2012.”
In another case, the Ethics Committee has invited the Western Region Football Association Chairman Kojo Yankah “to assist it in its investigation of the complaint you brought before it on the misconduct of Mr. Ahmed Zarouk, Chief Executive of Tarkwa United.”
Mr. Ahmed Zarouk has also been invited to attend the hearing “to assist it[Ethics Committee] ascertain the truthfulness or otherwise of a complaint brought before it by the Western Region Football Association.”
Meanwhile, the Committee will also begin hearing into allege misconduct brought against Mr. R.S.A Young by Executives of Mighty Cosmos formally Mighty Victory on Tuesday 23rd April.
