Iranian President To Deliver Lecture In Accra Today

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of the Islamic Republic of Iran is expected to deliver a public lecture at the Islamic University College in Accra as part of a three-nation African tour.

He is scheduled to meet the Speaker of Parliament Doe Adjaho today, before holding bilateral discussions with President Mahama.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is also lay a wreath at the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum.

Upon arrival in Ghana, the Iranian leader was met at the airport by President John Mahama and some Ministers of State.

After some discussions, the President Ahmadinejad was hosted to a dinner by his host.

In attendance were former President, Jerry Rawlings and his wife, former President, John Kufuor, members of the Council of State and Ministers of State.

The two leaders will on Wednesday address the press after co-chairing bilateral talks among the two sides and the signing of agreements.
