I Suspect NPP Smuggled Some Documents Into The Court Room – Asiedu Nketia

The General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has alleged that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) might have smuggled some documents into the court room after proceedings went on break during the 2012 election petition hearing on Wednesday.

According to him, the opposition NPP in court behaves as some Junior Secondary School (JSS) pupils who are not ready to write examination and want to get answers before they ask their question.

“Each passing day we come to court, I get more confident. What is more amazing to me is that, I refer to them (the NPP) as JSS pupils preparing for exams, and everyone saw what happened in court today.

“…You have tended in documents then when there was a break and he (Bawumia) went out, I want to suspect that, that is where some documents was smuggled into the court room and he started referring to it before he was compelled to tender that document,” he alleged.

Speaking to the media after Wednesday’s hearing, Asiedu Nketia believed the Savelugu pink sheet atrocity which caused an arrest of some electoral officials for trying to get signatories to some unsigned pink sheets was master minded by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He however said the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) is impressed with court proceedings since Tuesday and hoping for the best.
