Tripartite C’ttee to decide new minimum wage

XYZ Business has gathered that the National Tripartite Committee is locked up in a meeting to decide on a new minimum wage.

Last year government increased the minimum wage by 20 percent thus from GH¢3.75 to GH¢4.48.

Ahead of the meeting the Ghana Trades Union Congress has hinted that it will push for a significant increase to cushion workers following the hikes in prices of petroleum products.
