The founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor, has reiterated her pledge to protect the sovereignty of Ghana in at the Supreme Court any time she called upon to give accounts about what transpired in the 2012 general elections.

A cheerful Akua Donkor rubbed salt into the wounds of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) when she told our news team that Nana Akufo-Addo and Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom are masterminding the supreme court election petition as a means to introducing disorder into the country.
She said the leader of the PPP had tried to prevail upon her to make claims that there had been electoral malpractices so as to back and give credibility to claims by Nana Addo that the Electoral Commission in connivance with the NDC and that Mahama had cheated him in the elections.
She however stated that her conscience would not allow her to go that far and flatly refused the offer to also become part of what she thought was an ‘ungodly’ deal.
