The Finance Minister, Seth Terkper is leading a government delegation to the IMF/World Bank Spring Meetings in Washington DC.
The delegates will first attend the Global FM Symposium that has been organized by the Standard Chartered Bank in the United Kingdom.
The delegates will then have the opportunity to meet the board chairman of the Standard Chartered Bank, Sir John Peace and some of the top UK investors in Ghana.
Mr Tekper, believes that, the government is committed to addressing the fiscal imbalance in the economy state.
The delegation will be comprised of officials from the Bank of Ghana including the Governor, Dr Henry Wampah, the Chairman of the Finance Committee in Parliament, James Klutse Avedzi and some officials from the Finance Ministry.
