American hiphop star Tauheed Epps known on stage as 2Chainz is set to storm Lagos, Nigeria for the celebration of Nigerian music star D’banj.

The American rapper, known for several hit songs including No Lie and Birthday, is part of several artistes named by D’banj to rock his D’Kings Men Concert on June 23.

The concert, a collaboration between DKM Media and Ndani TV, will take place at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos and is expected to witness performances from Fally Ipupa, Kay Switch, J-Sol and Olamide.

D’banj, born Dapo Oyebanjo on June 9, 1980, posted a video of himself and 2Chainz on Youtube affirming the American rapper’s attendance.

In the video, 2Chainz, who is a former member of hiphop duo Playaz Circle, said, “June 23rd I can’t wait, this is my first time coming… My birthday is in September but [I will] act like it’s my birthday June 23rd when am in the city so holla at me. Nigeria I can’t wait.”

The D’Kings Men Concert is coming after D’banj’s heavily criticized Koko Concert at the Eko Atlantic City in Lagos on December 27, 2012.

That show was hosted by Idris Elba, Basketmouth and Bovi, and it witnessed performances from Big Sean, Pusha T, Tinie Tempah, Naeto C, Iyanya, Ice Prince and Kay Switch.
