Evian midfielder Rabiu Mohammed will face some of the best midfielders in the world when they play high-spending PSG on Wednesday in the quarter-final of the French Cup.

The Ghana international will get the chance to live up to the hype of him being one of the best midfielders in France to prove his mettle.

With several clubs including Lyon and Marseille said to be interested in the services of Mohammed, he can use the game to further advertise his talents to his potential buyers.

But he will face a very difficult task against the PSG side that Barcelona struggled to eliminate in the Champions League just last week.

The Ligue 1 leaders travel to the Parc des Sports for the quarter-finals as they look to keep up their hopes of silverware on two fronts alive

Evian could well name the same starting XI that impressively dismantled Stade Rennais, winning 4-2 in Ligue 1 on Saturday.

That would mean Mohammed – a key player at the weekend – retaining his place with no other pressing issues for coach Pascal Dupraz to consider.

The Ghanaian is among the several players called by coach Dupraz for the game but his compatriot Jonathan Mensah has still been left out of the squad because of injury.

The Evian squad

Durand, Laquait – Betão, Dja Djedje Mbarki Mongongu, Wass – Barbosa, Cambon, Lacour, Ninkovic, Sorlin, Rabiu – Adnan, Bérigaud, Diogo Gomes, Khlifa, Sagbo.
