Gold production and exploration company, Adamus Resources Limited, has revealed it’s on target towards producing 100,000 ounces of gold by the end of the year.
The subsidiary of Endeavour Mining Corporation of Canada, said, it will sustain the production level for subsequent years. Mark Addo, who is the Vice President, said, the company has met its target of employing at least ninety percent of staff locally.
He also stated that, Adamus, is doing a lot to develop communities in which it is mining. “We are truly a Ghanaian company, with most of the managers being Ghanaian, we have about four expatriates. Our profile for the year is to produce 100,000 ounces. We have about 8 years left”.
Recently, Adamus denied accusations of violating the rights of residents of Nkroful . Mr Addo said, the company will continue negotiations with all aggrieved parties, although it has legally acquired the concessions.
