Ghanaian striker Dominic Oduro has hailed Columbus Crew fans as ‘amazing’ and insist the team is committed to giving them the right balance between entertainment and results.
The 27-year-old has been the toast of the Black and Gold fans after his impressive start to the new season – scoring twice in Crew’s opening five games.
Crew are fourth on the Eastern Conference table and trail leaders Montreal Impact (12) by four points.
But they made a trip to face Montreal on Sunday and could close the gap at the top and Oduro wants the ‘beautiful’ Columbus fans to give them all the backing.
“It was beautiful. These fans are amazing. They were chanting the whole time and I just wanted them to know that this our house. I was telling them that this is our house and we have to believe that and win our home games as much as possible,” he told Columbus Crew’s official facebook page Dominic Oduro.
Oduro joined Crew from Chicago Fire at the start of the season.
