Pan Africa-Ghana and Tribe Media Company in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts have launched the second edition of the Ghana-Nigeria Tourism and Culture Showcase calling for the general public to embrace the event.

The two-day event which is scheduled for April 18 and 19 this year at the Accra International Conference Centre is aimed at fostering regional integration and positive development in Africa.

Speaking at the launch, Ras Caleb Appiah-Levi, President of Pan Africa-Ghana said, ‘It is an event with a philosophy to foster friendship and unity amongst African people and sub-region: having all the regional blocs in mind; extending to African in Diaspora. If we work and live together as one, it will help us develop the continent of Africa’.

He hinted that the event will feature a conference with stimulating intellectual discussions, presentation of papers, interaction and exhibition of arts, crafts, and fashion.

He added that there will be an award night aside other varieties which entails musical concert that will feature top Ghanaian and Nigerian artistes, themed ‘One Band, One Stage, One Tribe’.

He noted that the rich cultural heritage of the African people around the world could serve as a springboard to launch the economic and industrial development of Africans, adding that, the purpose for the initiative is to establish business relationship between the African continent and the rest of the world on a cultural platform.

‘The event and project therefore is the African Market place for the international community. It will bring together conveniently investors, artistes, educators, artists, traders, brokers, scientists, bankers, insurers, manufacturers, under one roof in the most important market place in the world for the first time in the history of mankind to explore doing business in Africa,’ Appiah-Levi said.

He said any historic movement requires individuals who are prepared to influence others who make an impact on the society.
