Proximity Communications, a leading innovative marketing consortium, has been acclaimed the fastest growing marketing communications company in Nigeria. The accolade was bestowed on the company at the Tony Elumelu Foundation-sponsored “Nigeria Fast Growth 50” awards which held In Lagos.
The “Nigeria Fast Growth 50”, also known as the “Nigeria50”, identifies and celebrates the 50 fastest growing Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) in Nigeria. Criteria for selection of the 50 companies includedannual growth rate, revenue generated, quality of products and services, and the number of employees.
Coming in 23rd amongst the 50 fastest growing SME’s in Nigeria, Proximity led in the marketing communications industry sector. It was sited for its growing innovative contributions, the impact on the clients it serves, and its growth rate.
In his message, the Founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation, Mr Tony Elumelu, CON, described the awards as an opportunity to “shine a unique spotlight on the pipeline of the fast-growing businesses who are driving Nigeria’s economic transformation” and enjoined the winners to continue to drive future prosperity for the country.
