Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Abdoulaye Soulama has turned down an offer from Algerian side JSM Bejaia, according to reports in the Ghanaian media.
The 33-year-old’s contract with Kotoko runs out at the end of the season and he has hinted he will not likely to sign a new deal at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The Burkina Faso international has experience from the 2013 AFCON as he played three games for the Stallions in South Africa in January.
Bejaia who kicked out Kotoko from the CAF Champions League on away goal advantage after holding the Porcupine Warriors to a 1-1 draw in Kumasi are looking for experienced hands and reportedly approached Soulama.
But reports in the Ghana media claims Soumala turned down an offer tabled by the Algerians and told them he is not interested in a move to North Africa.
Soulama made claims on Wednesday that an unnamed Scottish top flight side is chasing for his signature.
