HEAD TRAINER of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Didi Dramani insists most of his players lack mental toughness for big games.

This unpleasant situation, he pointed out, contributed to Kotoko’s failure to advance past JSM Bejaia of Algeria in the Africa Champions League duel.

Coach Dramani said on Angel FM that due to lack of mental toughness, most of his players gave up at the crucial stages of their game against Bejaia.

He insisted that but for the lack of mental toughness on the part of some his players, Kotoko would have carried the day and progress in the completion.

Coach Dramani observed also that he realized fatigue had set in on some of his players during the second half of the game.

Meanwhile, Kotoko Team Manager, Godwin Ablodey, has disclosed that some of the Kotoko players requested that they be changed during the JSM Bejaia game.

He said on Angel FM that this decision on the part of some players put the technical bench in a difficult situation.
