Asante Kotoko’s Burkinabe shot-stopper Abdoulaye Soulama claims an unnamed Scottish Premier League side is interested in signing him.
The 33-year-old Stallions goalkeeper’s contract with the Ghanaian giants runs out at the end of the Ghanaian Premier League season and he has left doubts over his future with the Kumasi-based side.
Soulama has spent close to five seasons with Kotoko and has hinted he could consider a move back to his homeland Burkina Faso.
But in a new claim, he has revealed a Scottish side has expressed interest in signing him.
“There’re a couple of interests in me and one of them is an interest from Scotland. The details ain’t quite clear but I know there is an interest from there,” he told Accra-based Asempa FM.
Soulama was part of the Burkina Faso squad that finished second at the 2013 AFCON and played three games in the competition for the Burkinabes.
