Premier club, Accra Hearts of Oak will on Thursday play division two side Impilo Ghana FC in a friendly ahead of their weekend Premier league action.
The game comes off at the ATTC training ground of the Phobians who have been very impressive in the Ghanaian top – flight league this second round.
This is expected to be a good test for Hearts who on Sunday, trek to Obuasi to play Ashanti-Gold in a tough Premier league encounter.
Hearts are unbeaten in the league this second round and are looking good as they push for an impressive finish at the end of the season.
Impilo Ghana FC have been in training all year long awaiting the start of their campaign in the Eastern region, and would see this as a good opportunity to test their strength against a top notch opposition.
They have lined up a series of friendly games in preparation for the start of their campaign and it would culminate next week when their partners from South Africa arrive to see how things are working out.
Fans can therefore expect a good game on Thursday between two clubs with contrasting ambitions as Hearts seek to lift themselves up from the bottom ranks in the Premier league log whilst Impilo FC continue with their preparations for the start of their league.
Ahead of this game, Impilo Ghana FC engaged Madina United in a friendly last Sunday which ended 2 – 2 in a game they dominated and should have won.
