Ghana’s U17 opponents; Nigeria have departed for the African Junior Championships that kicks off this weekend in Morocco.

The Golden Eaglets left Lagos on Wednesday morning after returning from their four-week training camp at the Aspire Academy in Qatar.

The team left on board a Royal Air Maroc flight to Casablanca where they will be making a transit before arriving in Marrakech.

Nigeria, drawn in Group B alongside Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire and Congo are looking to win their third African title upon their return to the competition after failing to qualify for the last two editions.

They will begin their campaign against arch-rivals Ghana on April 14 at the Stade Marakkech before facing Cote d’Ivore and Congo.
