Farmer Wins MTN’s GH¢150,000 Jackpot Prize





The leading telecommunication giant, MTN Ghana, has rounded up its100 days ‘Dream Big xtreme Promotion’ which saw a Kenyase-based farmer, Mr. Timothy Kwasi Agyeman, emerging as winner in the final draw for unlimited jackpot price of GH¢ 150,000.

 
The promotion, which was launched on the December 27, 2012, reached its end with a winner for the jackpot price at MTN head office in Accra.

 
According to him, MTN, organizers of the promotion said it was aimed at rewarding its subscribers and also to enrich lives in the communities in which they operate.

 
Briefing the media after the final raffle, the Data and Device Manager of MTN, Marketing Division, Mr. Kwadwo Amoako Okyere stated ”we are happy to know that our contributions are helping to improve the lives of the people and communities in which we operate and knowing that businesses will be revived through promotions such as this one.’

 
 
According to him, the promotion which lasted for 100 days had a total of 95 people having their lives been enriched with GH¢ 5,000 each, and over 9,000 people also winning airtime within that period.

 
When informed as winner of the 2013 Dream big promo via a telephone, Mr. Agyeman disclosed his excitement about what MTN was ‘doing for the community and the country as a whole.’

 
The promo also rewarded three lucky winners each driving home sleek jaguar XF2012 in the monthly draw.

 
They are a PhD student of KNUST, Elvis Baidoo, an entrepreneur from Sunyani, Samuel Oduro, and a businessman from the Ashanti Region, Prince OwusuBoakye.
