Mr. Agyemang’s number was randomly selected from the list of MTN subscribers who participated in the 100-day promotion.

The draw, which took place at the head office of MTN Ghana, Ridge Towers, was supervised by officials from the Gaming Commission, the National Lottery Authority (NLA) and observed by some media personnel.

As part of the promotion, which was launched on December 27, 2012 and ended at midnight on April 7, 2013, subscribers were required to text win to MTN short code 2020 and respond to trivia questions to accumulate points.

They are Elvis Baidoo, a PhD student of KNUST, Samuel Oduro, an entrepreneur from Sunyani and Prince Owusu Boakye, also a businessman, who deals in electrical appliances and hails from the Ashanti Region.’
