Apam (C/R), April 10, GNA – Mr Daniel Opare, Assistant Headmaster of Adisadel College died in a car crash at Gomoa Kyere Kwanta in the Central Region on Tuesday.
Mr Opare loss his life when a Peugeot car he was driving from Accra to Cape Coast collided head on with a bus, which left 17 people injured.
Chief Inspector Benjamin Allotey of Apam Motor Transport and Traffic Unit of Ghana Police Service, said when the deceased got to Gomoa Kyere Kwanta, he attempted to overtake another vehicle in front of him leading to the crash.
The body of Mr Opare had since been deposited at the Winneba Specialist and Trauma Hospital Mortuary whilst the injured had been sent to the Apam Catholic Hospital where they are receiving treatment.
