Two top South African clubs Kaizer Chief and Mamelodi Sundowns are chasing Ghanaian striker Mike Mohammed who is in top form in Swaziland.

Mohammed, who plays for Swazi giants Mbabane Swallows, was spotted by the two sides during the Swazi Bank Cup Final on Sunday.

The Ghanaian attacker was watched by Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Doctor Khumalo, who was part of the SA legends who played their Swazi counterparts as a curtain raiser for the final.

Having watched the Ghanaian striker impress during the final, Khumalo says he will the Amakhosi technical team to watch the Ghanaian striker.

“I was very impressed with his first touch and the way he protects the ball. He has all the traits of a good striker,” Khumalo told the Swazi media.

“I need to speak to the Swallows chairman because I need to recommend the striker to members of our technical bench.”

Meanwhile, another South African club Mamelodi Sundowns recently sent their technical director Trott Moloto to watch the Ghanaian striker in Swaziland.

Mohammed’s agent Eric Bisser is delighted there is reported interest but she is yet to be officially notified of an offer for the player.

“I have not been officially notified of any interest from South African teams but it’s always good news to hear that he has impressed some of the biggest teams in South Africa,” Bisser says.
