He is not the Rev. Francis Adjei that we all know, but an up and coming artiste who wants to spread the word of God through his music.
With his maiden album, Genesis, which has songs like ‘ Kakyere No’, ‘EL Shadda’i, ‘Here Again’, ‘Mede W’akyi Daa’, ‘Obaatan pa’ .
Rev. Francis Adjei, General Overseer of Charismatic Redemption Ministry believes he can win a lot of souls through his music. Sound engineers who worked on Genesis are Bassey Mix, Morris Baby Face and Agya Yaw.
On Genesis , Rev. Francis Adjei wants everyone to know that Jesus is the only one who needs to be praised and he is asking everyone to follow him.
Also, on ‘ Here Again’ a worship song on the album, Rev. Francis Adjei was telling a true life story of himself, as to why he is going through a lot of challenges, despite his strong believe in God, and when God finally answered his prayers he encouraged everyone else to give his life to Jesus Christ.
Rev. Francis Adjei, who preaches on numerous radio stations, including Happy Mm, Oman FM, Hot FM, Prime FM and Goodnews FM and also TV Africa, Top TV, Crystal TV, Sky TV and Muiltv TV will launch his album at his Charismatic Redemption Ministry, Pig Farm, on May 6, 2013.
He claims he didn’t adopt the name Rev. Francis Adjei to ride on popular gospel musician, Elder Francis Ajei. ‘I have been in a band, notably the police band and with Nana Acheampong and Professor Kofi Abraham for more than 20 year with the name Francis Adjei, and now that I am a Rev, there was no other name I could have used, than Rev. Francis Adjei’
According to him, maybe it was coincidental that they both came by the name, but not that he adopted the name to ride on it. Rev. Francis Adjei hopes his maiden album will be well patronized when it hits the market on May 6.
