Meadeama Chief Executive James Essilfie says the side is well primed to win a double this season.
The Yellow and Mauves have opened a three-point lead at the top of the Ghanaian top flight while also sealing progress in the MTN FA Cup competition.
And despite the intense challenge the Tarkwa-based club is facing on both fronts, the CEO believes the side is well equipped for an unprecedented club success this term.
“The team has been performing very well this season and I think we have the relative edge over our competitors heading into the season run-in,” Essilfie told GHANAsoccernet.com.
“We are in the quarter finals of the FA Cup and regardless of who we play I believe we have side formidable enough to win the competition.
“We are however not going to be complacent as we know they are also very good teams in the contest.
“But I am firm in my conviction that with the kind of work we have done all-season-long, we deserve to finish this season with the double.”
