Winneba (C/R) April 8, GNA – Effutu Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Nii Ephraim, has cautioned Ghanaians not to allow politics to destroy the country.
He made the call at a thanksgiving Church service organized by churches in the Effutu Municipality, at Winneba, as directed by the office of the President.
Nii Ephraim said: ‘We should put aside all political sentiments, change our lifestyles and contribute our quota to national development to move the country forward.
He said Ghanaians should thank God for His continuous blessing and peace for the country and asked the people to pray for the country.
The Reverend Emmanuel Wiredu Nkrumah of Assemblies of God, delivering the gospel, asked Ghanaians to pray ceaselessly and rely on God for solutions to their problems.
Pastor Frank A. Fourdjor of Winneba Abasarba Pentecost Church, led the gathering to pray for justice, security, peace, stability and development. GNA
