Job Title: Manager, Finance and Capital
Job Location: Accra, Greater Accra Region
The Securities and Exchange Commission, a statutory body responsible for regulating the securities industry in Ghana to ensure, inter alia the orderly, fair and equitable dealing in securities, invites qualified Ghanaians for the above post.
Duties:
The applicant will report to the Head, Finance and Capital and will assist with:
- Preparation, examination and analysis of accounting records and financial statements
- Assessing accuracy, completeness and conformity of accounting records of reporting and procedural standards
- Analysing business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations to project future revenues and expenses
- Prepare and report on periodic financial statements of the Commission to Management
- Supervise the reporting of all transactions regarding revenue and expenditure on quarterly and yearly basis
- Analyse financial statements of market operators to ensure compliance with capital adequacy requirements
Qualification and Requirements
The applicants should have the following qualifications:
- BSc Administration (Accounting) or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 9 years post qualification experience; or
- CA/ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience
- MBA Accounting/Finance will be an advantage
- Knowledge and experience in securities market operation is desirable
- Must be computer literate
