Hearts of Oak ‘game-changer’ Mahatma Otoo has added winning the Ghanaian Premier League top scorer award to his ambitions for the season.
The Sunderland-target has scored 12 goals in domestic leagues, one more than any player on the local scene.
Otoo has two goals to catch up on Amidaus Professionals forward Yahaya Mohammed who leads the chart with 11 goals.
The 21-year-old says he wants to help the former African champions to finish in a decent position and end the season with a title, he admits he has his sights fixed on the league the top scorer award.
“The season’s top scorer? Why not! Of course, the team comes first, but I am very happy my goals count this season and I wouldn’t mind bringing it up further,” he told Hearts news.
French side Olympique Lyon and Sunderland are reportedly on the wheels of the former Ghana U23 striker.
