Ghana striker David Accam was voted man-of-the-match in Helsingborg’s 1-1 draw at Oster in the Swedish Allsvenskan League on Monday.
The 21-year-old put up an excellent display for the visitors as they left the Myresjohus Arena with a point.
The Ghanaian international tormented the defense of Oster and came close to score on a number of occasions.
Helsingborg opened the scoring in the 26th minute through Mathias Lindstrom but failed to hold to onto their lead after Pablo Pinones-Arce equalized in the 89th minute mark.
Helsingborg are third on the table with four points from two games.
The impressive performance of the former Ostersund striker will serve as real boost to the Black Stars ahead of the 2014 World Cup qualifier against Sudan and Lesotho in June.
