The BEIGE Group last weekend hosted a team from Mamara Engineering & Construction Inc. Co, a reputable Construction company from Turkey. The team was led by the Chairman of the Executive Board who incidentally was a former mayor of Istanbul’s Beylikdüzü district and another Senior Executive.
This visit was a follow up to an initial cooperation agreement entered into by the two companies in Turkey earlier this year.
The two institutions are discussing the possibilities of partnering on a real estate projected about to be outdoored by the BEIGE Group.
While in the country, the heads of both institutions paid courtesy calls on the President of the Ghana Chamber of Commerce Hon. Seth Adjei Baah, the outgoing Turkish Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellence Aydin Nurhan and the paramount Chief of Aburi, Otubour Djan Kwesi II.
The President of the Ghana Chamber of Commerce was excited by the continued interest Turkey was showing in Ghana and encouraged Mamara Engineering to seal the initiative, as he believed the BEIGE Group had the capacity to deliver on this project, which he said was definitely going to be a win-win for both companies and Ghana at large.
The Turkish Ambassador, after having reviewed the proposed project confirmed the potential social and economic benefits that will accrue from it for Ghana when it is eventually achieved. He was excited about the choice of location and the target market earmarked for this project.
The BEIGE Group is a Boutique Investment firm with interests in Banking & Finance, Real Estate, Mining, and Tourism & Hospitality.
