AFCON 2017: Libya plans to build two stadiums

Libya has well planned to organize the Africa Cup of Nations 2017. The country plans therefore to build two stadiums of a capacity of 60 000 and 23 000 places. This is what announced this weekend the Minister of Sports of Libya Abdussalam Guaila.

“Organize this event will allow us to demonstrate that life is back to normal in our country, and encourage investment,” said the minister echoed by L’Equipe.

Libya had to abandon the organization of the AFCON 2013 (finally returned to South Africa) due to socio-political instability.
