David Addy played his first match for Vitoria Guimaraes in four weeks on Sunday against Beira-Mar

Defender David Addy enjoyed a standing ovation from the Guimaraes faithful when he returned to action for the first time in a month.

The left-back was sidelined four weeks ago when he picked up a thigh injury but played 90 minutes in their 2-1 win over Beira Mar at home on Sunday.

The 23-year-old picked up and yellow card on 69 minutes in an impressive display at Estádio Dom Afonso Henriques.
Two Portuguese newspapers; Abola scored him 4 out of 5 and Ojogo rated him 7.5 out of 10 on Monday.

Addy has made 17 appearances so far for Vitoria Guimaraes in the Portuguese and scored one goal.
