LAGOS — Assassinated Kwara State former Commissioner of Police, Chinwike Asadu, will be buried on Friday in his home town, Oniyi-Nsukka, Enugu State.
He will be buried after a funeral mass at St Victor’s Parish, of the Catholic Church, Onuiyi by 10 am.
A programme signed by the late Commissioner’s younger brother, Chief Ejike Asadu, stated: “The burial/funeral ceremony of my late brother, CP Chinwike Asadu comes up on Friday, April 12. The wake keep takes place on Thursday, April 11, at his residence at 1, Asadu Street, Onuiyi, Nsukka.”
Asadu, was shot dead by unknown gunmen on the night of Saturday, March 2, near his home in Enugu State.
The late Police Commissioner, who visited his home, was driving into his private residence when the assailants who were said to have laid an ambush around his residence attacked him and his aides about 100 metres away from his house.
