New NGO formed to campaign for teachers

The Justice and Peace Foundation, a Non -Governmental Organization (NGO)dedicated to highlighting and bringing into the public domain for redress, all acts of injustice against citizens and institutions, will be launched at the Teacher’s (GNAT) hall on Wednesday 10th April, 2013 at 10.00 am prompt.

The Foundation is being promoted by Hon. Nana Yaw Osafo Maafo, former Minister of Finance and of Education , Hon. Kwamena Bartels, former Minister of Private Sector Development and of the Interior , Mr Stephen Ntim, Business Executive, Prof. Mike Oquaye, former Minister of Energy and Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mr John Boadu a business executive and former National Youth Organiser (NPP) , Maame Afia Akoto CEO of friends of the Needy (NGO), Mr Sule Yerimia, former Deputy National Coordinator (NADMO), Hon Stanley A. Blankson, former Mayor of Accra.

The Justice and Peace Foundation intends, after the launch, to vigorously identify incidents of injustice , and to bring the attention of the relevant institutions charged with addressing these to take necessary actions to bring justice to the affected people and institutions, so that Ghana can enjoy genuine and lasting peace.
