Ex-Kotoko captain Issah Ahmed has questioned the tactical prowess of coach Mas-ud Draman following their elimination from the CAF Champions League.
Draman has come under heavy fire after Kotoko could only manage 1-1 draw against Algerian side JSM Bejaia in the penultimate qualifying stage.
Many angry supporters have questioned his selection for the game which failed to achieve the needed result.
The former Ebusua Dwarfs player made surprise changes in the squad that held the Algerian to a priceless draw in Bejaia two weeks ago.
Ahmed, who played for the Ghanaian champions between 2004-5, wants the trainer to explain why he opted to leave out midfielder Michael Helegbe.
“Why should Helegbe be left on the bench when they needed him the most? Mas-ud Didi has to explain some positive answers to the fans of Kotoko,” Ahmed tweeted.
“To play for Kotoko you need a big heart to impress the supporters of Kotoko.”
