Ghana defender Daniel Opare saw full action in Standard Lierge’s 0-0 stalemate with Anderlecht in the Belgian top flight.
The 22-year-old had made just five appearances for The Reds prior to Saturday’s big clash due to a lengthy injury layoff.
The ex Real Madrid player has just recovered from a damaged metatarsal – an injury he has suffered for a fifth time.
He played a game in January on his return but appeared to have suffered some complications resulting to an extended spell on the sidelines.
The Ghana international however came through Saturday’s game unscathed – meaning he is now in the clear to see regular first team action.
