Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso is set to return to action for his Spanish club Espanyol on Sunday after serving a one-match ban, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso is set to return to action for his Spanish club Espanyol on Sunday after serving a one-match ban, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

The Black Stars enforcer has been named in the club’s 18-man squad to face Osasuna at the Reyno de Navarra on Sunday.

The Ghanaian player could not play their last match against Real Sociedad through suspension after accumulating five yellow cards.

Having served the one-match ban Wakaso is now available for Espanyol coach Javier Aguirre who has duly obliged by naming him in the team for Sunday evening’s game.

Wakaso’s return is a major boost for Espanyol as he is one of the club’s key players.
