Aduana Stars booked a place in the quarter-final of the MTN Ghana FA Cup after beating Tema Youth 4-2 on penalties at the Tema Park on Sunday.

Both sides were unable to find the net in regulation time despite creating a host of chances.

Aduana coach Kwabena Ameyaw named Bernard Don Bortey in his starting line-up while Tema Youth welcomed back Moses Odjer and Joseph Atamah in their line-up.

Youth dominated play in the opening 30 minutes but Aduana came in strongly after the break but were unable to breach the defence of their hosts.

The game headed for penalties after the regular time was exhausted.

Aduana then won 4-2 during the shoot-outs to secure a quarter-final berth.
