Adam Larsey Kwarasey has marked his hundredth game with Norwegian top flight side Stromsgodset; but it did not end in a fairy tale as they lost 2-0 to Honefoss.

Popularly called Stroms, the Norwegian team have four Ghanaians on their roster: defenders Bismark Adjei-Boateng and Razak Nuhu as well as midfielder Enock Kwakwa.

The former Ghana number one was however the only player of the four to line up. By the end of the he had succumbed to two late strikes within ten minutes.

Kwarasey’s 100th game in the top flight (Eliteserien) coincided with his 123rd game in all competitions for the club. Having flown high last season and finishing second, the club started this season poorly, with just three points after the season kicked off two weeks ago.

Strømsgodset are now ninth on the log.
Born in Norway to a Norwegian mother and Ghanaian father, Adam’s consistency for his club helped him dislodge the veteran Richard Kingston from the Ghana setup and made his debut against Swaziland in 2011.

South Africa’s “Sowetan” also named him among their Top 10 Sexiest Players at the last African Cup of Nations.
