Management of the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA) has finally formed a committee to oversee the implementation of the proposed guinea fowl farms in the northern regions.

The committee has a representation of SADA, Asongtaba and the Coalition of Guinea Farmers in the Northern Region.

Spokesperson for the Coalition of Guinea Farmers in the Northern Region, Aziz Ibn Shiraz said all the major stakeholders were satisfied with the composition.

He estimated that the Committee will come out with a strategy to make the project feasible.

Meanwhile, President of the Progressive Youth Alliance in Bolgatanga, Latif Solomon has alleged that SADA management on Thursday bloated another GHC80 million old cedis as transportation for participants who attended a meeting in Bolgatanga.

According to him, each participant received GHC50 cedis after dinning and winning with the SADA Chief Executive.

Latif Solomon admonished SADA management to stop “wasting resources” meant for pro poor programmes needed to alleviate the plight of the rural poor.
