US-based philanthropist honoured with Nkosuo stool




Kumasi, April 5, GNA – A United States (US)-based philanthropist, Mrs Giboney Boakye-Dankwah, has been installed the Nkosuohemaa of Atonsu-Dompoase in Kumasi in recognition of her tremendous contribution to the development of the community.

She was given the stool name, Nana Ama Agyeiwaah.
The new Nkosuo queen, together with her husband, had built a school complex with a well-stocked library for the people at a cost of US3,526.00.

On hand to perform the traditional installation ceremony was the Queen of Dompoase, Nana Adoma Serwaah, who asked her to continue with the good job she has been doing.

The Nkosuohemaa was presented with a full set of regalia, to symbolize her power and authority.

She was also showered with assorted gifts by the people.

Nana Agyeiwaah pledged to continue to do everything to help make things better for the people.
